Mediavision Academy Received at the EU in Uganda
Kampala, 10 December – The Delegation of the European Union to Uganda welcomed Robert Nkambo, founder and director of Mediavision Academy, along with his team, for an insightful meeting that highlighted the Academy’s mission and achievements. The delegation was received by Mr. Ivan Bertoux, Programme Officer in charge of Communication, Culture and Aid Coordination, who expressed keen interest in understanding the Academy’s role in empowering youth.
Mediavision Academy is dedicated to equipping young Ugandans with essential skills in photography and videography. “Our vision is to empower youth and help them gain necessary skills,” noted Nkambo during his remarks. The meeting also featured Samalie Zwalongo, a former photography student from the Academy, who shared her success story and the transformative impact of the courses on her professional journey.
The discussion focused on job creation and the social inclusion of youth, emphasizing how effective training can foster entrepreneurship and success in their careers. Both Mediavision Academy and the EU Delegation underscored the importance of collaboration in nurturing the next generation of skilled professionals in Uganda.
